Call audio is personal information.

Exactly where your callers’ audio goes, who can reach it, and how to get rid of it, plus the answers a privacy reviewer asks for.

In Australia, on infrastructure you can name.

Stored in Australia

Recordings, transcripts and booking notes are processed and stored onshore, not routed to a US-only stack by default.

AWS Sydney

The voice stack runs on Australian infrastructure. You can put that in a privacy review instead of the word “cloud”.

Privacy Act 1988

Handled under the Act and the Australian Privacy Principles as personal information, which call audio is.

Australian-owned

Tensify Pty Ltd, ABN 74 701 453 170, Sydney, NSW. Billed in AUD, supported in your timezone, answerable under Australian law.

Your callers’ audio, your decisions.

Disclosure is not optional

The agent tells every caller it is an AI assistant. You cannot switch it off and neither can we. It is how the product works.

Recordings are yours

On every plan, download or delete any recording and transcript from the dashboard. Deleting removes it from our storage too; backup copies follow on their normal cycle.

It won’t take card numbers

The agent is built not to collect payment details on a call. If a caller offers, it declines and routes them to you.

Switch it off in minutes

Forwarding is a setting on your line, not a contract. Turn it off and your phone behaves exactly as it did before.

The answers a practice manager asks for.

What personal information is collected

Caller phone number, the audio of the call, a transcript, and whatever the caller tells the agent, such as name, address and the nature of the job.

Why

To answer the call, book the work, and give you a record of what was agreed. On Essential and above your agent also learns from your calls; that learning stays in your account and is never used to train models for anyone else.

Where it is processed and stored

Australia (AWS Sydney).

How the caller is informed

The agent discloses that it is an AI assistant at the start of every call.

Who can access it

You and your team (up to 5 people on Business), through your dashboard. Our support staff only when you ask us to look at a call, or where we need to for security, to fix a fault, or because the law requires it. Service providers that run the platform (hosting, speech, SMS and email) process it on our instructions, in Australia.

How long it is kept

Recordings and transcripts are on every plan. They are kept for your plan’s call history period (from 30 days on Lite to 3 years on Scale) and then deleted automatically. Longer retention by arrangement.

How to have it deleted

Delete individual recordings and transcripts in the dashboard at any time, or ask us to remove everything for your account.
